Joe Miskulin

This site is dedicated to the stories of my father. I have the great opportunity to be able to digitally record his stories--as told by him--and give them to the world. These stories cover 9 decades, 16 U.S. presidents, 8 Constitutional Amendments, and a World War. These stories are told by someone who was there. They aren't officially sanctioned or politically correct. They're just true.

Photos Are Here

Corky at AttentionThe first of the photos are being uploaded and labeled. I have approximately 300 images scanned in the first batch. They all need to be cropped, adjusted (brightness & contrast), resized, uploaded, and labeled.

Update:  The first wave of photos have been posted to the to the Photo Gallery and anything written on the back has been added in the description.  Anything written in italics is what is written (or typed) on the back of that photo.  Once I have translations of the Italian and German, the English translation will be included inside of curly brackets {Like this}.

Any help from anyone who reads either Italian or German and would be willing to do some translation work would be greatly appreciated.  I can’t pay you, but you’ll get a very public thank you and credit here on the site.

The photos aren’t organized very specifically, yet.  That will come later.  Many of them may be in the wrong section right now.   That, too, will get sorted out later.

  1. Hello, quite a coincidence. :-D Is your father connected in any way to Croatia, specifically city of Rijeka or village of Hreljin. I am interested in this because my grand dad and your father share the same surname, Miškulin. cheers.
